Hey everyone I’m 32 almost 33. No breast problems ever until last Sunday 8 days ago I woke up and I had a swollen and delicate left breast, by Thursday it was no better. I went to doctors and they gave me Co-amoxiclav 3 a day for 10 days. It’s day 5 no better. My symptoms haven’t worsened - but haven’t improved. I have to hold the swollen left breast when I walk and wear tight clothes to try and keep it somewhat in place. It’s not majorly more swollen but it is noticeable when you look and feel. It’s slightly more harder than the right. There is no rash, no nipples change or puss. I keep reluctantly checking everyday. I get the odd twinge/shooting pain every now and then. I went back to doc’s today, she has referred me to breast clinic and I should hear off them in 2 weeks. May I add no lumps have been detected upon examination, just thickening/swelling the doc said. 

I also must add on the Saturday the day before the problem appeared on Sunday I did wear a very tight fitting bra, which  squashed  my breasts quite a bit, I work this for 15 hours at least. 

I don’t know if I am holding onto the fact I worn a tight bra as hope I’ve done some damage. Google is a f*cker and isn’t easing my mind.

I do have a history of breast cancer on my dad’s side, my dad is yet to be tested to see if he is a carrier. 

I have nobody to talk to, I am genuinely distressed and not sleeping with worry. Everyone just keeps saying I’ll be fine but what if I am not?! I am petrified!

just looking to see if anyone has had the same symptoms and been ok. It’s not mastitis that has been established. The fact I have nobody lumps I can’t be relieved it may be a cyst or abscess …..
