I'm sorry to hear you've been referred to a specialist and that an appointment has now been made at the head and neck cancer department.

I know how scary this must be Catcone but I and the rest of the Cancer Chat community are here for you and we're sending you all our support at this rather difficult and uncertain time.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar position will stop by soon to share their experiences and advice but if it would help to talk to someone about this, you can give our cancer nurses a call. They're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to answer your questions and put your mind at ease about what's to come.

I'm not sure from your post when your appointment is exactly, but I want to wish you the very best of luck. I'll be thinking of you and will have my fingers crossed for good news.
