30F- no other symptoms other than those listed below. 

I recently went to the gp with symptoms of itching around the anus and some bright red/pink blood on toilet paper following episodes of itching. One or twice experienced had a sharp pain on passing a harder bowel movement followed by bright red blood, then itching. This had been happening on and off for a few months so thought I’d get it checked out. 
gp did examination and felt no masses or any blood on digital exam. She suspected a fissure and prescribed some cream- which has worked wonders and I’ve not had any further itching or bleeding since. She also advised a fit test to be safe.  
the day of the examination I did have some itching and following blood on tp. I still took the fit test and returned it day of examination, was probably wanting to get it out of the way. 

I’ve since had a positive fit test of 41umg and put on the 2ww. I mentioned that my symptoms have improved with the cream and they advised doing another fit test to be certain in the meantime. So I’m now waiting for those results but I’m very anxious about being on the 2ww pathway. 

this has all happened in the last week so it’s been a bit of a whirlwind. 

has anybody had similar experiences?
