I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some ongoing health concerns and that following an appointment with your GP, you're now waiting for an urgent referral to a specialist. It's understandable that you're feeling worried. 

We know that for many people, this period of waiting and uncertainty can be really difficult, and it's natural that our minds run through all sorts of possible outcomes. I hope that you're being well supported by family and friends. Do try to keep a positive mindset if you can, as it definitely helps. We also have some advice and tips for how to cope with waiting for news. 

Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your appointment, but in the meantime, if it would help to talk things through with one of our nurses, you're welcome to give them a call.
