Large lump found in right side of groin - Should I be worried?

This week I’ve found a lump just, only just in base of my right buttock area but mainly the groin.. it’s on the right hand side towards my “cheek” in between the vagina and anus area.. im really worried about it as it’s the size of small tangerine not painful but definitely not a spot ! It’s not hot to touch and firm.. what is it please, should I be worried?? Thank you for your help . P.s not sexually active lady..

  • Welcome to Cancer Chat Hevr, although I'm sorry to hear about the lump you've just found.

    Unfortunately no one on the forum can tell you what this is but if you're worried, it would be best to book an appointment with your GP as they will be able to examine you and let you know if it's any cause for concern. Hopefully that won't be the case but it's always good to get any unusual or persistent symptoms checked out, if only for peace of mind.

    I hope you receive some further support and advice from our members soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you and will have our fingers crossed for good news.
