It's normal to feel overwhelmed after being referred on a 2 week pathway and it's easy to draw conclusions and expect this to mean that there is something serious that needs investigating. But being referred on the 2 week pathway doesn't necessarily mean that it is cancer or anything concerning and I hope that the information we have on our website on your urgent suspected cancer referral will reassure you. It does mean though that you will be seen quicker which is always a good thing.

Even waiting for a couple of weeks or a few days can feel like a lifetime so I wanted to share with you our helpful tips on how to cope while waiting for news.
