I'm just needing a rant or maybe looking for some reassurance.

I've had prolonged heavy bleeding for the past year which resulted in severe anaemia. I previously had a diagnosis of PCOS so put it down to that. I went in for a hysteroscopy and insertion of coil under anaesthetic last week. 

After the procedure, I was told that I had multiple polyps and it all looked a bit irregular and needed biopsies. 

I've now gone down a google rabbit hole and waiting for these results is driving me mad! Any advice on how long biopsies usually take? Also how to cope while waiting for results?

anyone who has been in a similar situation?
