Been having quite bright red blood in my poo for 6 months. Finally plucked up courage to go to the doctors.  Did 2 samples which I knew would come back positive.  Have to see the doctor now on Monday to discuss my results and next steps.  Starting to feel very frightened.   I know a colonoscopy will be required.  Anyone give me some positive stories of similar situations please
