I'm sorry to hear about the cramps you've been contending with since you had your smear test.

I know this must be alarming, especially as you haven't experienced this with any of your other smear tests before, so if the pain is still there it may be worth getting in touch with the nurse or department that carried out your smear test to get some reassurance and advice. If that's not possible, you're welcome to discuss this with one of our cancer nurses on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to help.
