Has anyone else had Simlar? What was the out come? 

my left tonsil has been enlarged for about a year but the past month it has gotten severely large (almost touching the middle) it’s not nice and round more bumpy all over. I feel like I have a constant sore throat but it’s more lumpy than an actual sore throat? Like there’s a ball in my throat. I had a serve ear infection last month that’s when I noticed it had got even bigger. I finally saw my gp who said it definitely doesn’t look like an infection but they’ll do bloods anyway.. but then said it’s probably just from having a virus prior and it’s not settled back down. But I’ve had it a year?? I’m not so worried about it being cancer as I know the gp would have been concerned and he wasn’t. But I’m so confused. I’m hoping anyone on here has had a Simlar experience? My blood test isn’t for another 2 weeks and he told me to go back in two months if it’s still swollen.
