I feel you on this! I’ve just had confirmation of a small mobile lump in my left breast which is believed to be a cyst or fibroadenoma. However, that doesnt stop the worry and like you I’m 33 and have a child. My fear is also around my child rather than myself, so if you need to chat or anything like that, please send me a reply x

No of course it doesn’t, until you hear those words that’s it’s all clear and nothing to worry about and even then I imagine there’s always some worry in the background.

when are you booked in to the clinic? How have you been the last week or so? 

Oh yes definitely. Every minute feels like an hour, constant waiting, no answers, reading more and more and more forums online, it’s just horrendous!

It does doesn’t it! You second guess everything and then think you have symptoms that you likely don’t because you convince yourself of it.

i had my gp appt this morning and within 15 mins of getting home had my appt come through from the hospital for 15th Jan. not sure if that’s a good sign or not?? Just going to try not to get ahead of myself until I know what’s what but that’s easier said than done!

Exactly, and I’m poking and prodding that much it’s hurting and even know I know in myself the aching is purely because I won’t leave it alone, there’s that niggling worry that it’s there because of something more sinister.

i know what you mean, I hadn’t felt much pain the last day or two but now I’ve been to the gp and know there’s definitely something there my brain keeps telling me it’s sore. The brain plays horrible tricks! X
