Waiting for results of cervical polyp removal, but doctor concerned about lining of my womb. They think it might be endometrial hyperplasia

Hello, I have been waiting for 6 years for a cervical polyp removal and biopsy. Finally, just before christmas I went to get it removed. While there, the doctor done an internal scan and is concerned at how thick the lining of my womb is for where I am in my cycle and for my age. He said it looked like endometrial hyperplasia and done a biopsy and said he will write to me with results.

Just wanting to speak to anyone who has went through something similar.

I went to work the day after the procedures, and then off for christmas break. The thought of going back with this in my head is making me so upset and anxious, and I wish I had off took time off straight after the procedures.

Anytime I feel upset, I keep thinking I am being dramatic, but remembering I waited 6 years and they have seen something else, I am finding it hard to get my head around.
