Hi Dee and a big welcome to our forum, 

I think you did the right thing to go and see the GP after you noticed this post menopausal bleeding and I am glad that the doctor examined you thoroughly and that they fast tracked to try and find out what is causing this cervical bleeding. It's great that you won't have to wait too long to be seen and I hope that you get the results of your blood test soon. 

It is terrifying to have to go through these tests and the uncertainty that goes with it can make you feel so anxious as so many of our members will know only too well. I thought I would share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.
