Hello, I noticed last week (Thursday) a small lump in my groin on the right hand side when showering- it's not painful and quite small.

How worried should I be- at the moment I'm alternating between worst case scenario and thinking 'of course it's not cancer, that happens to other people and is too rare' which I know is ridiculus because I have a rare swallowing condition called achalasia.

I'm due to have a blood test to check ferritin levels some time between Christmas and new year- would a full blood show if there is something there and is that too long to leave it- if the lump is still there then.
