Hi there. I’m going out of my mind with worry and hoping for some reassurance!! I have been suffering with constipation for many months now. I’ve had a fit test and blood tests and all came back fine. The gastro consultant I was under felt there was no need to investigate as it didn’t indicate anything sinister. I eventually got a second opinion as I got fed up with it all. I had a colonoscopy but it failed as the bowel prep didn’t work. My second also failed as it still not cleared out on the right side. I also have discomfort but not really any pain on that side. I’ve convinced myself that it’s a cancerous blockage there. The consultant said he thinks it’s unlikely and he’s not concerned but my mind is going haywire!! I do have slow bowel transit. I just hoped for some thoughts from this community to calm my head down!!
