Bleeding after smear - I have severe health anxiety and this has sent me spiralling. All previous smears have been normal

I just had my 4th regular smear done yesterday as I bled during/after so now I’m planning my funeral and this is going to be the longest 2-6 week wait of my life and right before Christmas too. I have severe health anxiety and this has sent me spiralling and it’s only been 24 hours. all previous smears have been normal and hpv negative

    I've taken lots of smear tests as a nurse and lots of people bleed after them, we sweep your cervix with a brush to get cells off, I bleed myself after mine and mine have always been ok. 

    Bleeding after a smear test certainly doesn't mean you have anything to worry about.

    Oh thank god a nurse has replied! I asked the nurse who done mine is that normal like and she literally didn’t answer me and said you’ll get your results and if it’s anything the letter will tell you :’( just wanted her to say if she sees it a lot or not and it didn’t happen on my previous 3 xx
