Hi I'm new on here I'm a bit all over the place at the moment. I've got an ovarian cyst which has been monitored for a while now and everything was fine. But in the last two weeks its started growing again my ca125 test has come back exactly the same as last year which is a good thing but my consultant has taken a renial function blood test and I've got a mri scan tomorrow. Plus I'm 57 and postmenopause so I know that's a concern. I'm just wondering if anyone else is going through this or been through it. Thanks

Hello

I am 60, diagnosed with a 27cm ovarian cyst in Sept. Raised CA125, family history of cancer - mum had breast & then bowel, my sister ovarian.
I’m down for Laparoscopy 15th December: tubes, ovaries and omentum will be taken with the cyst and investigated. I had fibroids so my uterus and cervix was removed by keyhole 20 years ago.

I’m scared about the surgery and recovery but also trying to be optimistic that I don’t have cancer.

I do feel there is not enough to read on this and coming here has helped a tad.
