I have recently had a biopsy done on a suspicious looking mole on my back 3 weeks ago. I have had a number of moles removed over the years as I have many moles on my body and my mum had melanoma. I had a melanoma in situ on my leg 3 years ago which required WLE and then no further treatment I was very grateful. This time around whilst waiting on my results I am extremely anxious and on Friday 28th Nov I missed a call from dermatology and a voicemail to call them back at 4.25pm I called back 4.30pm and was unable to get through kept trying until 5pm. The last time I got a call from the hospital was for the news it was a melanoma so this whole weekend I have now been in a state of what stage etc and everything else I am wondering if anyone has ever had a call for good news?
