I'm sorry to hear about your symptoms and that your FIT test result was high.

I know this must be a very worrying and stressful time, but our members are here to support you through this Doris and hopefully some of them will be along soon to share their experiences and advice.

I'm not sure from your post if you have had either of these tests before but if not, you can find out more about the CT scan and sigmoidoscopy you'll be having on our website. I hope this helps you feel more prepared for what's to come but if you would like to talk any of this through with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very knowledgeable and will do all they can to help.
