So sorry to hear about your FiT test, it’s very low as was mine at 20, I had a colonoscopy last Sunday and all was well, a small poylp was taken off but was told it’s fine, still sent away for biopsy.. I think if they were worried you would have got put on the 2ww at the beginning and not a phone call as I was. Let us know what the doctor say and sending you good luck x

Hi thanks so much for replying  i really appreciate it as I am alone. Do you mean you did not get a call or have GP appt but straight to 2ww. I would have preferred a GP call me instead of the unexpected call from a receptionist. I was reading anything over u10 is investigated so I am expecting that. I did the fit test ( from the docs not the nhs one) it came back positive after a day or so, doctor phoned me up to go in that evening, he examined me and said straight away he was putting me in for a colonoscopy under the 2ww, even though he couldn’t feel anything sinister, it was only just over 2 weeks from doing the fit test. I also had a blood test, everything was normal on that. I only had a a couple of symptoms that I mentioned to the nurse while I was seeing her for something else. Xx

Hi SueCC I also have just had a positive fit test, was the kit they send you in the post. I sent the kit off on the Monday and by Thursday had two missed calls on my phone and also a letter arrived Friday from NHS, the calls were from the hospital but they left no message, the letter said I had an appointment on 19 Jan at hospital. So am now concerned have something wrong. Hope your ok. K

Hi, no my test was from the doctors, they gave me it and I handed it back in to the surgery. As I said mine was 20 so yours is very low. I had the colonoscopy and they found one polyp that was taken off. I think if they find blood they have to do it on the 2ww, are you having a  colonoscopy on the 19th. Good luck x

I don't know what my numbers are with the fit test, I should have asked when they rang me but was a bit overwhelmed. I don't know why they want.me to go to the hospital and not just arrange a colonoscopy but will see what they say on the 19, I presume I will then have to wait for an appointment for colonoscopy. It's not very nice waiting but I will keep myself busy.K
