Swollen Lymph Nodes. Am I being OTT? I'm very anxious about my ultrasound. What will happen at this appointment?

Hi,

I'm 35, F.

I first noticed a swollen lymph node in my groin back in June.

I had a CT for other reasons, back in July, which picked up 'small volume axillary lymph nodes, probably reactive'.

I then noticed a few swollen lymph nodes in my neck. I believe they have grown, though, still under 1cm. More so in the past week or 2, I am noticing alot more swollen nodes in my neck. I also now have more in my armpit (axillary).

My neck (right side) is now aching. Some days feels worse than others. Its not a pain like a stabbing pain, more of an ache.

I'm finding I get very hot when I first get into bed. I'm having to sleep with the window open. (I'm usually freezing!). But not waking with drenching sweats.

Ive had itching for around probably 9-12 months. I was put on hydroxyzine, to help me sleep, but also kept the itching at bay, as its a antihistamine. Now I'm on something different, the itching is back. I brushed it off as my lose skin, as I'd lost alot of weight due to weight loss surgery.

My bloods came back okay. Including LDH.

I'm awaiting a ultrasound. But the doctor is very much, its just one of those things.

Even having a bath I've realised I can no longer rest my neck on the bath, as it hurts/aches.

Am I being OTT? I feel really unheard, and I'm very anxious about my ultrasound. Thankfully they are scanning my neck, arm pits and groin, all in the one appointment.

Also can anyone advise whats likely to happen during this appointment?

Many thanks,

Tash.
