I’m 23F and during lockdown, I began to feel some pressure at the back of my head (no pain). This pressure has always kind of been there accompanied by a lump about the size of a pea. It is located on my left side just where my occiput sticks out and is hard and movable. I am going to see a GP today as I find that the pressure is getting worse. I’m not too sure if it’s because I keep messing with it and that I always have to have my hair up for work which may be irritating it. I’ve always thought it may be a pilar cyst although it is not visible, only palpable and pilar cysts run in my family. Apart from the pressure and occasional pain I have from messing with it, I have no other symptoms. I have not found anything like this online and I’m really worried! Every night I need to apply hot compress on it to try and help the pressure sensation. Anybody experiencing anything similar?
