Hi all,
I’m 34 and found a lump at the weekend in my right breast. It’s in the lower quadrant under my breast. Went to the GP on Monday who examined me and sent referral that day. Appointment at breast clinic is on Friday. GP has noted slight nipple retraction which I hadn’t noticed but since I can see what she meant. Since my exam on Monday my breast has been a little tender and feels “full” (by this I mean tender like when milk comes in after birth if that makes sense?)
As you can imagine I’m absolutely terrified. I know it’s more than likely a benign something or other but I can’t help feeling anxious. I keep looking at my children (2 & 5) and thinking “what if?”.
I think I’m just posting for support as I feel absolutely sick with worry and although it’s a short wait for my appointment (I know I’m lucky) every day feels like a lifetime!
