I have had an urgent liver MRI around 3 weeks ago, and have received an appointment for a weeks time to discuss my results over the phone. Is is a good sign that it’s a telephone appointment and not in person? I’m desperate for some reassurance.

Hello PipHelenD and welcome to the Cancer Chat community.
I'm sorry you've had to have an urgent MRI on your liver and will soon be having an appointment to discuss your results.
I know this must be worrying but it's difficult to say whether this is a good sign or not just because every hospital has a different way of giving results but hopefully you will receive good news when you speak to them.
I hope some of our members who have received results over the phone will share their thoughts and experiences with you soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you and wishing you all the best for next week.
If you'd like to speak to one of our cancer nurses before or after your appointment you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very easy to talk to and will do all they can to support you.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
