Hi, I am 33 years old and I've had loose stools/diarrhea for about 6-8months. I finally plucked up the courage to go to the doctors when away on holiday I felt a sudden need for the loo, got there and the bowl was full of bright red blood and diarrhea. It really worried me. 

Other than that, only symptoms are an uneven mix of constipation and loose. No weight lost, no more fatigue than normal, feeling fine within myself. 

Fit test came back at 107 but all other bloods were fine. Really working myself over it as I had 2 small children and terrified of the result. Booked in for a colonoscopy next week but my mind is doing overtime as I now have a persistent dull ache at the bottom of my back and around my tummy only since Thursday though. I'm wondering if this is caused by worry as I haven't had this symptom before.
