Waiting for CT colonography results after having positive FIT test last month

I am Waiting for results of my ct colonography, which I had on 20th October.  I am starting to think no news must been good news! But I  need to know!

Back in early September I had a positive FIT test with a very  high score. Also a few other symptoms,  which to be honest I would have probably put down to a 'blip' of some kind.

I feel quite well,  no weight lost and need result so I can get back to normal life.

    Hi Everton1981, 

    I can imagine this is a rather stressful time for you as you are awaiting the results of your CT colonography. According to our page on the CT colonography, it normally takes 1 to 2 weeks to get your results so if you see you haven't had the results after a couple of weeks, you could contact your doctor to chase your results for you. I completely understand why you feel you need this result as once you have had the result, you will know exactly what is going on and what caused this positive FIT test.     I hope that you get some clarity soon and that it all turns out to be nothing of concern. Waiting for results really is the hardest thing and while you are waiting, I thought I would share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for news.
