Hello Nshad,
It's always a bit of a difficult state to be in when you find yourself pre-diagnosis and it can take quite a while - or what can seem like a lifetime - to get properly and precisely diagnosed. Unfortunately many of our members will relate to this unpleasant transitional feeling of waiting and waiting and worrying it could be cancer. It's good though that you got to see the gynaecologist today and had this important internal scan which revealed this thickening at the bottom of your uterus.
It is normal to be worried as you are beginning to have some answers without having the full picture yet and it is indeed rather stressful to have to go through this biopsy under general anaesthetic and then have to wait again for results and definite results. The best thing to do really is to take one step at a time knowing that it won't be too long now until you find out more. Try if you can not to anticipate what it might be and keep well away if you can from the temptation to look things up online as there are so many conditions it could be other than cancer. Waiting is often mentioned here as being the hardest thing really and for that reason, we have put together these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.
We've had many members of our community post on here before with very similar concerns and worries after similar thickening was found in the uterus and I hope they will be along shortly to share their story with you.
Keeping everything tightly crossed for you that you won't have to wait too long to get some clarity on all this and that it all turns out to be nothing concerning.
Best wishes,
