Mind control, keeping busy , positive thinking pre-diagnosis

One week since my biopsy of breast lump and so difficult to mind control 

I try to keep busy but start thinking about all negative things that can happen 

please help me

i want to hear some survivors story and make friends with women in similar situation

    i suppose different NHS trusts have different wait times. 
    Will you get an in person appointment to find out the result? Or are they going to send letter? 

    mine is appointment in person for result.

    Oh dear, that is a horrible feeling. I totally understand that. 
    When I was called from the bread unit yesterday I got worried. 
    but it turned out that it was the receptionist and she said she didn’t know anything about results so could only say the appointment needed changing because of a backlog in the lab. 
    I expect if you call you will have similar answers that they don’t know anything about your result, and will at least tell you what to expect. 
    such a horrid waiting time, 

    I hope you’re managing to do something nice with your son.
