So had another examination with ultrasound and biopsy, from the off the doctor was certain it’s a fibroadenoma, but because I’m 25 they wanted to do a biopsy. I was watching the ultrasound screen when they pictured it and when I was having the biopsy and I looked up fibroadenoma ultrasound pictures on google after and it looked the same. But won’t know completely until results in a couple of weeks, let me know how yours goes! X

Aw Maisie I'm so glad to hear that it's more than likely fibroadenoma. I have my appointment on Friday and feel physically sick waiting. Did yours hurt at all when you touched it? Mine gets tender if I touch it too much and don't know if that's a good or bad sign. I really appreciate you coming back to me x

No mine didn’t hurt, but fibroadenomas can be tender or painless! It’s an awful feeling waiting, wishing the best x

Mine did hurt when I was touching it a lot though x

Hi Maisie,

Thankfully it was a large cyst. 3.5cms which was why it was causing pain. They said I actually have a lot of cysts but all harmless. The four hours in the clinic was the longest wait ever but I can breathe again.

I have everything crossed that your test comes back as a fibroadenoma. The doctor I met today said they never suggest it's something unless they are quite certain and that the biopsy is often just a precaution if the ultrasound images are clear.
