How to deal with the anxiety of waiting?

Hi.. I’m a 29 year old female and I was having symptoms of bleeding from my bowel when going to the toilet. I‘be previously had a colonoscopy 3 years ago when similar symptoms presented and I was riddled with thankfully benign polyps.

On Friday I had a sigmoidoscopy for my current and they found what they called a “submucosal lesion” in my bowel alongside a fair amount of inflammation. The doctor ordered an urgent CT scan which I had yesterday and now I just need to wait for the results of the scan and biopsies, however I am so anxious. It’s getting to the point where it’s affecting my sleep. Any tips on how to deal with the anxiety that comes with waiting for results?
Thank you x
