Inflammatory breast cancer? Seeing a GP today about my symptoms

Hey! 

i woke this morning, had a shower as i was drying, i had a severe pain in my breast. Looked down it’s got a red patch and feels a bit hard underneath, not so much a lump. So painful to touch! No infection symptoms at all. Had mastitis in pregnancy before it feels different (not pregnant) 

i am seeing GP today but thoughts? 

im 37yo with 4 children, youngest 9

    I'm sorry for the worry your symptoms are causing but you did the right thing by booking an appointment with your GP and I hope they were able to put your mind at ease when you went for your appointment on Monday.
