Hi Ohnonotagain, 

I am sorry to hear you are going through such a stressful time at the moment after you experienced spotting after playing netball. You did well to mention it to your doctor and I am glad that they have been thorough and noticed that your cervix was bleeding and fast tracked you to be seen at the gynaecology department. Going through all these tests at the moment will inevitably add to your anxiety and I hope that everything goes well for you for your hysteroscopy.

Being referred for a hysteroscopy doesn't necessarily mean you have cancer - it's normal to be worried given that you went through cancer before but there are many other things it could be other than cancer. The important thing is that you detected these symptoms and told your doctor about it and that they are being investigated at the moment.

I am keeping everything crossed for you that it all turns out to be nothing of concern. The hardest thing really is the long wait for answers as many of our members will know only too well and I thought I would share with you these helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.
