I'm considering not having the biopsy but just living with the condition. Pretty sure I have it but don't know what type - slow growing or aggressive. I'm 71, so maybe not worth going through the biopsy and subsequent treatments?

Had mine done 2 years ago.Not a nice procedure but it will save your life.It took about 40 mins was just a bit uncomfortable,no after effects.Get it done and good luck
Thanks for your reply. Really appreciate what you say
To be honest I've always been terrified of injections, in this case the anesthetic. I can't see letting someone inject me there. The rest of it i can handle.
You don’t even feel it,your legs are in stirrups up in the air and before you know it it’s done. They took 24 samples from me,but everyone is different my pal only had 12
Did you have a local anesthetic or general?
Local, didn’t even know they had done it
Hi..no personal experience ♀️but close family member and good friends have been on this journey recently..with very positive outcome..
You say you are 'pretty sure' but always best to get the diagnosis and prognosis from the professionals..
As for living with the condition... please get the biopsy done..
FYI.. b-in-law was mid 70's, friends were 61 and 64.
