Post menopausal bleeding and hysteroscopy

Hi I've had bleeding a couple of times recently since being menopausal. Had an urgent cancer referal, transvaginal scan showed 8mm endometrial thickening, was told I needed a  hysteroscopy and biopsy, but due to an ablation a couple of years ago this may be difficult because of scarring.  So I've had it done under general anaesthetic, they said they were unable to do a biopsy after several attempts but everything else looked fine so it should be ok. If I continue to get bleeding to go back to my doctor and get referred back and they will then do an mri, which I was originally told that is what they would do if they can't get a biopsy.

I told them this, and that I had been bleeding again last week, since, I had seen the consultant but they really didn't take any notice. It wasn't the consultant  I saw previously who did the procedure as far as I'm aware(didnt even see a doctor). Does this all sound right? I feel so stressed out as it's all been crazy even had CNS nurse contact me so I've been thinking the worst now feel like I still dont know why I have been bleeding.
