I had to go for a early mammogram after I found a lump which I thought might of been a cyst as I had a cluster 20 years ago, they did find cysts on both breasts but everything was fine thankfully. After the mammogram a very small spot appeared on my left boob in which the doctor asked was it there before I had the mammogram I said no, it's probably where the machine as pinched you. 3 days later I woke up in terrific pain to where I found a large painful lump the size of a desert spoon purple in colour quite hard by this time I couldn't stick the pain I was putting hot flannel compression to that area for some relief, by Monday I made a doctor's appointment in which the doctor was quite concerned gave me a course of antibiotics it's now Saturday it's leaking puss after showering and throughout the day, slowing the lump is going down but as left 2 holes where the puss is releasing from but less painful should I be further concerned & ask to be seen by a breast specialist or go back to my GP next week ?
Asking for advice on the subject thanks in advance. Jac
