3rd Letz and smear test and wanting to try for a baby. What should I do?

Hi

 have had 2 letz procedures, and also a biopsy with the 2nd procedure.  The results came back 2 weeks ago and they were all clear and fine.  

Got a message to say they want to do a 3rd Letz procedure as a precaution.

This will most probably mean that I have to have a stitch in my cervix if I become pregnant.  Me and my partner are hoping to try for a baby this next year.

I also have a test of cure smear due in December.

Advice of what to do….have the 3rd Letz now or wait till I have the test of cure….,and then try for a baby. ?

    I'm sorry to hear about the situation you find yourself in. It sounds like it's a real dilemma for you, knowing what to do for the best. 

    I'm wondering if there is someone at the hospital that you can call to talk through your concerns ahead of your next planned LLETZ. It may be that they can offer you some reassurance and information that will help you decide which is the best way forward for you.
