Hi Everyone 

so glad I’ve found this forum, Been in my head for a few days and just need to speak and get some advice. 

I went for my smear test on Wednesday, and whist doing it, the nurse said she wasn’t happy with something and went to get a doctor, in turn he went on to say they wasn’t happy about something, at the time I was so anxious I just wanted to get out of there, they said they will be refereeing me to the hospital, I walked out of there not really understanding what was happening, A few hours later I got a text message from the doctors saying my letter was ready to collect, I went to collect it and it said on there ‘ Urgent Suspected Cancer - RAS Gynaecology- USC‘

i was a bit shocked becasue that word didn’t get mentioned whist in there, the hospital called me the next day and have booked me in for next week, I asked the lady on the phone if someone could talk me through what will happen at this appointment as I’m nervous, and she said it was more of a consultation? So now that’s confused me further. 

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen, or could tell me what could happen at the appointment so I can prepare myself. Thank you very much.
