I had a biopsy exactly 2 weeks ago to diagnose cause of postmenopausal bleeding and endometrial thickening. How long will it take to get result?

I had exactly this done myself 2 weeks today, spoke to the hospital today as I have started bleeding and they told me up to 4 weeks for results.Dont know if its the same in every area in the UK though.
