I'm wondering if anyone can help, please.

I am almost 27 and am a virgin. I have never had any sexual contact with anyone, of any form. Could I still have HPV? I have never had a smear test as I went to the GP surgery when called for it at 25, and the nurse refused me the test, saying it would hurt me and to come back once sexually active. I didn't give it much further thought at the time but now am wondering if I should have got a second opinion. Am I still at risk for HPV? Is it not a STI? I'm vaccinated if that helps. Please help, I'm worried.
