TURBT

I have just been to the hospital for a cystoscopy, I pushed for the referral as my uretha had been stinging with baths/when wiping. It was diagnosed as a urethral caruncle which did improve with oestrogen cream but sometimes the symptoms when wiping/bathing came back.

I went for a cystoscopy to see what could be causing it as the dr said there was nothing on the outer uretha that could warrant the pain. They have found several things inside my urine tract/bladder (I'm not sure what my mind went to mush as soon as they mentioned it fearing worst case scenario)

I'm just having a lot of trouble trying to process anything here and I feel so alone. Has anyone been for one and it not ended up being cancerous? I'm pushing myself to the worst case scenario and I am so scared. Apparently an appointment will be made for me for a TURBT in 3-5 weeks

I am 36/F
