Endometrial Thickness 11mm

  1. Hi all  I have been through the menopause and have not had a period for 2 years until last week when I had bleeding and pain. I had a scan today and it's showing 2 cysts  a high left ovary and endometrial thickness of 11mm and solid lesion. I have a gynaecologist appointment on Thursday but not sure what to expect
  • Hi Kelly5465,

I just wanted to wish you the very best of luck for your appointment tomorrow. I hope it all goes well for you. You did well to flag the fact that you had bleeding and pain and it's good that they are looking into this. I know it's really hard but try not to anticipate what it might be and resist if you can the urge to look things up on Google as it will often only make you worry even more without giving you satisfactory answers. While you are waiting for clarity, I thought I would share with you our helpful tips to help you cope while waiting for important news.

Many members of our community have posted here before with similar issues including endometrial thickness and I hope that they will come and say hello and share their own experiences with you and that they will tell you more about to expect from your appointment based on what their own experience was like.

It's a good idea to write things down ahead of your appointment so that you don't forget any questions you may wish to ask your specialist. Our nurses may have further advice for you so don't hesitate to get in touch with them on this free number 0808 800 4040 - you can call their helpline Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Keeping everything crossed for you that you find out more soon and that it all turns out to be nothing of concern,

    Best wishes,
