Hi, I have recently been to the doctors due to me loosing 6 stone in a year, having frequent cramps in calves, many unexplained bruises on my legs, brain fog and major fatigue. They are doing a blood test in a few days however tonight I have noticed swollen lymph nodes in my groin and it’s making me panic. I just wondered if anyone else has had anything similar ? I usually don’t make a fuss of my own health but I really do feel like something is wrong and I’m worried the doctors are going to brush it over.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some ongoing health concerns over the past year. It's good to know that you've already seen your GP and that they are going to request some initial blood tests. 

    When you go for your blood tests, mention the swollen nodes that you've noticed to the nurse, who can raise it with the doctor if they feel you need to be seen the same day. Hopefully, the test results will bring some reassurance, but don't be afraid to ask for a further appointment with your GP to explain how you're feeling. It may help to write down your symptoms and concerns. You could also consider taking someone with you to the appointment for moral support.
