I didn't go to the GP about my prostate. I went because something had changed in toileting and I had issues with urgency. It started with a PSA test to "rule it out" and that showed a mildly raised PSA which combined with family history (father, father's brother and paternal grandfather) lead to further investigations. Each seemed to find something more worrying.

Thankyou for taking the trouble to reply. I very much appreciate it. Yes this is what is happening to my son just now. He is alone overseas which makes everything so difficult to navigate. Have they checked you for UTI?
