I had kidney stones 2 years ago that were passed naturally. A few weeks ago I started with what I thought was a uti. Had severe stabbing pain in lower groin and passing urine very frequently. Doctors detected haematuria in my urine and ended up in a&e. They said probably kidney stones again. Had CT scan last Wednesday and they said results would be 7-14 days. Doctors have rang me tonight to go for blood tests. They didn't do this last time and am more worried because my mum had kidney cancer 12 years ago. Trying not to worry about the worst outcome but anyone else had this? The burning/constant pain in kidney region has gone so thought maybe I'd passed the stone/s but still have an achy pain near my left kidney
