I'm waiting for a letter.to get to see someone to llol at my tongue, had a call from the hospital last week now waiting for the appointment letter. How long did it take from being referred to getting the biopsy?
My most recent tongue biopsy (suspected possible recurrence from treatment 7 years ago) was 90 minutes after initial examination, simply because there was a free slot! 7 years ago a week or so as far as I recall.
In short it no doubt varies enormously from time to time and place to place. If you search on NHS waiting times you should find info for your local Trust/hospital.
