Post menopausal bleed and raised CA125 levels

Hi, im new to this , just reaching out to speak to anyone in the same position. I'm 55 and had some light spotting May this year on HRT for 18 months with no previous problems. Sent for transvaginal scan which revealed a 4cm ovary cyst and bloods taken. CA125 levels came back raised so have now been sent for an urgent CT scan today bricking it is an understatement !  ,cannot fault how quick my appointments have come through but terrified to say the least. Symptoms im having are being totally bloated all the time and chronic heartburn and frequent weeing. Anyone like to chat similar be good to connect.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some recent health concerns and that following some initial investigations, an urgent CT scan was requested. It's perfectly understandable that you're feeling overwhelmed by things. 

    Have the team said when you may hear about the CT scan results and what the next steps will be in terms of seeing the specialists? Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long for answers and the Consultant will be able to give you some reassurance when you speak with them. 

    If it would help to chat things through with one of our nurses while you're waiting for your results, you're most welcome to give them a call.
