Breast lump and ache in armpit

Hello

I see my GP 2 weeks ago for a lump in my breast which I have been referred to my local hospital for. My appointment isn't for another week however the last week my armpit feels swollen and I have an ache in my armpit. I am trying not to worry to much but has anyone else had this? Another week waiting feels a lifetime away

    I am sorry to hear about your symptoms and understand your concern. This wait is one of the most anxious times of our entire cancer journey. Not all lumps are cancerous - many turn out to be due to other benign conditions. Try to steer clear of consulting "Dr Google" in the meantime. Much of the information is poorly researched, out of date and aimed at the more spectacular cases. This won't give you any answers and will only serve to scare you even more.
