A very warm welcome to our forum, although I'm sorry to hear why you've joined us. It is impossible to know what is causing your tiredness until you get your results back. Did the staff at the clinic say when you should get them? The scans should identify your mass, but it is the biopsy which determines whether or not there is any cancer present and, if so, what type it is. 

Having had 2 bouts of breast cancer myself, I can vouch for the fact that you can feel exhausted when undergoing treatment, but there are too many possible causes for this to start thinking of cancer straight away.

I do hope that you get your results soon and that you find a simpler explanation.

Thank you for warm welcome Jolamine and for sharing your experience. Yes, I've a pretty good awareness of other possible factors especially with UAT, fibro etc but don't think this is coincidental. Results soon hopefully will inform next steps (if any)! Warmest regards x

Any reply yet on your tests? I too suffer with crazy exhaustion but my iron levels are zapped. I wonder if that could be a reason. 

Hi cloudy, diagnosed this morning. Lobular invasive carcinoma, estrogen and progesterone+, her2 neg. Tentative Stage 2, maybe more. MRI next week, need results of that to plan forward. Feels surreal.

Ah I’m so sorry to read this. At least you have a diagnosis now. I read that it tends to go pretty quickly from here getting a plan in place. Hopefully this next 2 weeks will fly and you will be armed with info and a treatment plan. Be kind to yourself, that’s been a hard day today.

I am glad to hear that you have now got your results, but sorry to hear that you are now waiting for an MRI. There is a surreal sort of feeling when you get your diagnosis, but it'll soon become more real, once you embark on treatment. Here's hoping that it remains at stage 2 and that this doesn't change next week. Don't

Thanks Jolamine, yes, it wouldn't suprise me if it did change but am hoping not. Just said to my line manager earlier it"s surreal. Still doing my work but half my mind is on this. Can't tell family yet until they return from holiday. Thanks for encouragement x

Most of us leave telling family and friends until we've got the full results, but this is totally up to you. You're doing well if only half of your mind is on this. It really is hard to be able to think of anything else! Irrespective of the eventual results, you'll find it easier when you know exactly what you're dealing with and what the plans are for treatment.

Hi Jolamine, thanks. I thought I replied to your message already but can't see it so forgive me if I'm duplicating here lol. I'm really hoping it remains Stage 2 and no lymph node involvement as per radiology, albeit I know they'll likely biopsy areas including sentinel node etc after MRI. Hoping not. Thanks for support x
