Hello Jie,
It's normal to be worried after what you went through 10 years ago but the HPV/borderline changes that were found will be treated when you go for the colposcopy and you can find more information about this on our page on the colposcopy. It can be really worrying to find out you are HPV positive and that you may need treatment to deal with these borderline changes and I hope that our information on abnormal cervical cells and on treatment if you have abnormal cervical cells will reassure you. You can also read more on our website on HPV and cancer.
Many other members of our community have been told they had HPV and borderline changes and they will have had the colposcopy too and hopefully they will be along soon to share their experiences with you.
If you want to talk things through with our cancer nurses, don't hesitate to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
