Waiting really is the hardest thing - it is a time filled with anxiety and uncertainty when you are left a little bit in limbo being told for example that it is highly likely it is pancreatic cancer but at the same time the biopsy hasn't yet confirmed it so that leaves you feeling a little bit lost and confused without concrete answers. You are being told that surgery might be an option but as long as the cancer hasn't spread so you are having to wait again on that scan of the lung and liver and I hope that you can find out more soon for definite what the available treatment options might be.

All this waiting and all these unknowns are so hard to bear at a time when you really need some definite and precise answers. 6 weeks is a long time to have had to wait and I think you were right to ring them and enquire - sometimes we need to do that in order to get an update and find out a bit more about what is going on. Did you manage to speak to someone? I hope that by now you have a little bit more clarity on when you might get these important results. 

While you are waiting - as it sounds like there will be more waiting too for these lung and liver scans, I thought I would share with you these helpful tips which will give you some useful coping strategies during this terribly anxious time.
